My Blog Post Number 2

Phase 1 was difficult for me, especially because I did not sufficiently prepare myself at the start of the semester, and it made it difficult balancing assignments and other reasonability's. In future phases, I will alter my study habits. Instead of doing assignments at the last minute, I will start them early to make sure I am able to get it done on time.

4.6.3 the thesaurus section demonstrated how to use the find tool to look for words and alter them individually or change the word throughout the entire document. The thesaurus feature in Microsoft Word allows you to look up synonyms for words. These features are useful for modifying words in a text. I plan on implementing these tools when proof reading.

I will prepare for MO-110 exam by reviewing difficult topics and looking over topics I missed. I will also create a study guide writing down important topics. Lastly, I will also test myself on the information by quizzing myself.

I previously got a puppy a couple of months ago. He is a 4-month-old husky mix, although it is fun having a puppy, but it is not easy. The puppy requires a lot of attention and care. Although it has been a challenging journey, it has taught me a lot about how to train and care for a puppy.

  2. Hey Edwin,

I totally get what you mean about Phase 1 being a challenge. Starting assignments early is a game-changer; it’s something I’ve been working on too, and it really helps with managing everything.

The thesaurus feature in Word is super handy. I’ve found it especially useful when I’m trying to avoid repeating the same words in my papers. It’s great that you’re planning to use it more during proofreading.

Your study plan for the MO-110 exam sounds solid. Creating a study guide and quizzing yourself should definitely help reinforce the material.

Congrats on the new puppy! A 4-month-old husky mix must be a handful but also a lot of fun. Training can be tough, but it’s so rewarding.

Keep up the great work, and let’s finish this semester strong! ^-^

  3. It is understandable that phase 1 was challenging because we had little to no idea how the course was going to look and what to expect.

Hope your plan works and the next Phase is easier.

  4. Great approach. I am also reviewing topics that have given me trouble. I think we have all been doing great the half of this class because we are the ones that are still here.

  5. It sounds like Phase 1 was a bit of a challenge, but it’s awesome that you’re planning to start assignments earlier in the future! The thesaurus feature in Word is such a helpful tool, especially for proofreading. I bet it went well on your MO-110 prep with your study guide and self-quizzing! Also, having a puppy is definitely a lot of work, but it sounds like you’re learning a lot from the experience! By the way, what did you name your puppy?

  6. Hi Edwin!

I really admire your honesty and self-reflection, it shows growth and determination.

Changing your study habits and starting earlier is a smart move that will definitely help in the long run. I also like how you're planning to use the thesaurus and other Word tools to improve your writing.

Sounds like you had a solid plan for the MO-110 exam. Good luck, we are almost done!

  7. Hi Edwin! It great to see that you have self-reflected and found that you were underprepared for Phase 1, but it makes it that much easier to prepare your self for Phase 2. You got this! A 4-month-old puppy, sounds like a rough time! My Doberman puppy is nearly a year old and he has only gotten crazier! Good luck to you on the IS101 and puppy front!

  8. Hey Edwin! I always wanted to get a husky, so that’s awesome to hear you recently got your puppy not that long ago! Phase 1 was a learning curve for most of us. I trust that you’ll find a routine that works best for you.

  9. Hello Edwin!

Phase one was a lot, no lie. At times, I felt like the work was a lot of this and a lot of that, but once you find a rhythm, it starts to get a little easier to manage.

Man, I remember when my Pitbull/Lab was a puppy, he would get into everything, and I had to train him not to destroy the house and then teaching him manners was a whole different ball game. He’s seven human years old, which is in dog years he is considered a senior now, which I find crazy because he is still full of energy.

  10. Hi Edwin! I think a lot of us in this course could mutually agree that phase one turned out to be quite a tackle, but we all eventually found what worked. Even if it means letting go, so no shame in that, we've all had those moments, and that's completely valid. The thesaurus feature is quite useful, I was surprised I could even do that on Word. Not sure what you are doing now, but I know you will be successful in your future endeavors!

  11. Thanks for sharing your experience it’s great that you’re reflecting and already making a plan to improve your study habits. Starting early will definitely make things less stressful! I also liked that you mentioned the thesaurus feature I’ve started using it more too and it really helps polish up writing. And wow, a husky mix? That must be a handful but super fun! It’s awesome how even that experience is helping you grow. Wishing you the best with the MO-110 exam you got this!

  12. Hey Edwin, yes it is important to stay on track because playing catch up is not fun. I also have a husky and I love him. He is so full of energy, personality, and hair. I highly recommend walking your dog to help release some of that energy, or it might start destroying your stuff.

  15. Hi Edwin, I hope things go well with your new puppy, I know it can be a little all over the place when they're pups.

  16. I thought the thesaurus was a useful tool, it gives other choices for better words to use if you can’t think of a good one on the top of your head and it also gives plenty of options. Congrats on your new puppy 😊
